Description
A self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) is a device worn to provide
breathable air in environments with oxygen deficiency, smoke, dangerous gases,
and other airborne contaminants that may be otherwise dangerous to breathe.
Applications
Self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) are used to protect users against
oxygen deficiency, dust, gases and vapors at plants, aboard vessels, at fire and in tunnels.

Maintenance Specification
Maintenance and Servicing must only be performed by trained personnel
following the procedures in the Service and Maintenance manual.
The cylinder must be hydraulically tested every five years.
